Abracadabra treatment development

A teenage boy, Ben is an aspiring magician. It is first made clear that he is not good at it, yet he doesn't give up and even wants it as a career. He is shown attempting a few different tricks, and failling. His parents are disappointed and worried, because of his determination to have a career in something he isn't talented at, and wouldn't be realistic, even if he was talented. They are reading an email from his school, stating that he hasn't been doing his homework. He attempts another trick, and fails. His parents lecture him about not doing well in school, and that he is a bad magician. They take away all his magic things, except his wand, which they cannot find, as he has it hidden in his pocket, under his shirt. Ben goes into his bedroom, and sits on his bed. He looks at his poster, of "The Invincible Ian", who is a famous magician, who Ben looks up to. Ben stares at the poster and sighs. Ben notices how "The Invincible Ian" is holding his wand, in the poster. "The Invincible Ian" is holding the wand in his left hand, and he is holding it with his index finger, along the wand. Before, Ben had been holding his wand in his right hand, and had all his fingers around it. Ben takes the wand from his pocket, and holds it the way "The Invincible Ian" is holding his wand, in the poster. He gets up from his bed, and points his wand toward the light, that he had previously tried to do a trick with. He says "Abracadabra!" and this time, the light turns off. Ben says "Abracadabra!" again, and the light turns on. Ben smiles, and jumps of excitement. Then, he goes into the living room and tries to show his parents his magical ability. His dad yells at him to give him the wand, and Ben points the wand at them and says "Abracadabra!" and they disappear.
